Why would a DMM Reset of the NI 4071 cause the NI 6713 AO Card to shut down?

I am having a issue and hope someone can help. I am trying to perform the following steps.

1) Perform a 2-wire resistance measurement using the NI 4071

2) Set NI PXI-6713 AO card channel 0 to produce a 5V 1KHz Sinewave

3) Reset DMM

4) Perform a AC measurement using the NI 4071

As soon are the DMM Reset VI is executed the output of the NI PXI-6713 AO goes to zero.

These steps have been simplified to explain the issue that I am having. There are some other commands being sent to other cards in the PXI Chassis that is going on between these actions but they seem to have no affecting on the AO card or the DMM.

I have drilled down into my code and have pin pointed, what I believe is the cause, the DMM Reset VI.

I have even use NI IO Trace to find out if there are any other commands that are being sent that could be causing the issue and I do not see any.

I am sure that I could fix this issue by playing games with the DMM or the AO but I have no desire to add additional code to the program to fix this problem.

Can anyone tell me if what I am seeing is a known issue, or if anyone has had this problem before?

System Config:

LabVIEW 2012

Windows 7

NI-DAQmx Device Driver 9.6.2

NI-DMM 3.0.6

Thanks
