Hi all,
This is my first time posting to the NI forum so I am sorry if my explanation is missing details. I am currently using a Mightex SME-B050-U (B/W) USB 3.0 Camera to acquire a sequential frame of images and their respective time stamps. I am having issues with achieving the maximum frame rate as it is denoted on the manufacturers website:
14 @2560 x1920, 20 @2048 x1536, 31 @1536 x1216, 41 @1280 x1024, 60 @1024 x 768, 105 @768 x 480, 114 @640 x 480, 240 @320 x 240, 350 @192 x 128 [fps / resolution]
Here is the link to their website as well:http://www.mightexsystems.com/family_info.php?cPath=1_252_253&categories_id=253
I have been trying various things to get this thing working properly but with no luck so far. I have tried updating drivers for the camera and Windows XP SP3 that I am running this on but it didn't help. As far as I understand the camera is using DirectShow drivers for continuous image grabbing.
I have a Labview 2013 program using NI-IMAQdx to acquire the images and save them as a TIFF. If anyone can take a look at my program and maybe let me know if it's the programs issue or the camera or my computer. I am lost at trying to figure out what is going on.
I will attach the program and also the text file that is produced with the time stamps. I am pretty new at Labview so thank you for the help and patience.
Thank you very much.
