I am trying to couple a KDC101 - K-Cube Brushed DC Servo Motor Controller and a PDA36A photodetector to correct for drift of a mounted optical element. The photodetector records the signal from a laser, which is displayed using a waveform diagram plotting voltage vs time. The maximum value of the signal will be sent to the stage that's holding an optical element, and the stage rotates to a position where the maximum intensity of the laser propagates through the optical element. The stage should also be able to rotate until the maximum intensity of the laser is being injected into the optical element. I have created a VI that can access both devices, but I do not know how to couple the two for the task that I am trying to complete.
Any suggestion on how to couple the devices in my VI would be helpful. Thank you.
