Sorry but this is a gripe. And an unnessesary one... Perhaps I'm being silly
The device drivers download does not come with enough documentation. It also doesn't come with a generalised installer. This is pretty silly - since clearly there is an installer which allows you to chose the installed drivers using the DVD. However for those of us who have to track down the person with the magic DVD, the download gives a forrest of directories to search for an MSI which might just work.
Of course the next avenue is to download the 'readme.zip' file - which after unzipping gives some HTML files which link to non existent other files. - NB this is a 'paid' piece of software - not open source
This has been a problem I guess for at least 2 years - and clearly NI hasn't listened. You have to wonder....
I am aware that helpful NI bods will direct me to the exact downloads page i need for the exact drivers I need - but really is this a good use of our time?
Iincidentally for those who are keen to prove that this is an easy task I need drivers for the 'R' Series FPGA boards that will work with LV 2013 (64 BIt). I include the list of directories as an attachment (it is apparently too long to include in this humble message board
Ta muchly!
