NI DAQ PXie4300 read data
I want to read 8 ch analog data from an NI DAQ(PXIe 4300) and 8 ch from an Agilent DAQ (M9216). I want one sample of each channel in 2 milllisecond. What is the sampling rate I have to use?. Also Whether I have to use one while loop for both read or to use two while loop for each DAQ?
For Agilent DAQ there is no sampling rate configuration also?

To Find Harmonics and its Magnitude with Respect to Frequency
Hello Everyone,
I am trying to plot the frequency vs magnitude for a wav file. I want to identify the following,
1. Fundamental frequency and its magnitude
2. Harmonics and its magnitude
Basically, I want to do a frequency domain analysis. I tried in several ways but I could not figure out since I am new to DSP. Please anyone can help me in this regard. I have attached the VI that I was trying with the wav file.
I am not sure about the units of the detected amplitude, frequency, detected fundamental frequency and THD in my VI. Please have a look.
I would much appreciate your guidance.

keithley 2400, error -113
Hi, dear NI engineers,
I'm encountering a problem with Keithley 2400 when doing a J-V sweep.
The thing is, the program runs well at the beginning, but when time goes, the program will stop at a random time, a few seconds to a few tens of seconds, never kept minutes. At the same time, Keithley will display a -113 error.
After checking this error in the manual, the manual told me 'This error indicates that the command you sent to the instrument did not contain a recognizable command name.' But this doesn't make sense to my program, coz the program uses the module instead of operating the fundamental functions.
And I googled too, someone says increasing the timeout time works, but it still didn't work for mine.
So, could you help me with this?

combine 2 different methods of measurement
Hi,
I have to combine 2 Programs that use different methods of measurement :
-the first one takes a measurement every 10 milliseconds
-the second one gives every 1 second a table of a 100 measurement (it's measuring every 10milliseconds in an Oscilloscope and sends in the end all the 100 measurements together )
i want to make a table that combines both measurements , so it would have 2 columns : 1 for the first program and 1 for the second one

Using Array of Cluster as a FP mixed Data Type Table, issues with deleting selected row
Hello All,
I am using a 1D array of clusters to act as an user editable front panel table and found a handy community VI that helps me determine which row in the array that the user clicked on here. I added buttons to add/delete row but need some help with some specific event logic.
Here is a quick mock up of what I am doing:
I want a case in which when the user clicks on a row then clicks away anywhere else on the front panel the row selection is forgotten, so when I go hit the delete button it will delete the last row instead of the selected row. This logic seems straight forward but I can't seem to figure out how to get it to work. I tried to do an mouse down event on the pane to reset the row selection, but that event gets triggered event if I click on a front panel buttons, so will end up making every delete a delete last row action.
Is there a way to get the delete button to be dual purpose, delete last row and delete based on user selection, or do I need to make 2 delete buttons to make this work?

Polar Graph cannot handle Waveforms in NXG 3.0.2
Bug got probably introduced in NXG 3.0.x, since it still worked in NXG 2.1 as long as I can remember.
See Snippet and corresponding front panel. Seems that something is going wrong with the dt value.

Interpolation, Triangle Search Failure
I am using the Interpolate 2D Scattered VI (linear method), contained in the AAL Interpolation library on LabView 2016 to interpolate a lookup table of microwave powers. For most points the interpolation work perfectly, but for some reason, certain interpolation points fail and give [].
I have traced the error to the Triangle Search VI, in the AAL Geometry library. This VI looks for a triangle depending on the input data arrays and what you want interpolated. In a successful interpolation, it finds a triangle and outputs its location to the next VI along, but for the unsuccessful interpolation points it does not and therefore returns a value of NaN that carries back to the output where it outputs [].
Does anyone know what this VI does within interpolation? Or what might be going on geometrically?
I haven't attached the VIs as mine are complex and the error lies within NIs code. The VI doesn't output an error I can look up annoyingly.
I realise this is probably not enough info to solve the problem but I can't figure out what is going on which makes it hard to fix. I'll continue trying and if I find the solution I'll post the answer but some help would be appreciated.

Impulse voltage
Using NI-9263 and NI CDAQ I need to produce an impulse voltage (with labview).
And with that impulse voltage on a solenoid, can it's magnetic field produce an impulse force on a magnet?

Modbus library not working...
Hello everyone...
I made a PID controller software program using Modbus interface. I installed Modbus library version v1.2.1.42 for my Labview 2017. Previously my program was working fine, but now I am getting errors like, read_P.vi, write_P.vi (I am using them as a subvi in my main program) is not executable. Later on I came to know that it is because of the Modbus library incompatibility. I tried uninstalling & installing the Modbus library again using VI package manager, but it showing the same error. I just checked that all the function palettes of the Modbus library have been modified. Previously the palettes were coming up in yellow color, but now they are showing in purple color (see attached pics). How can the functions get changed for the same version? My whole program is not working because of this issue. Somebody plz help me out.

Get RIO Card Alias in LabVIEW 8.6
Is there any way to read the alias of a RIO card in a PXI chassis using LabVIEW 8.6?
I know it can be done using the system toolkit, but that's not available prior to 2009. The toolkit will work for our new product which is developed in 2016 but not for our legacy product done in 8.6.
I was almost thinking that it could possibly be programmed in the 2016 version and then "saved for previous" but I have my doubts.
Anyway, any suggestions or ideas would be appreciated.

Hello,
I've completed a few online courses some time ago on the National Instruments websit (Labview Core 1 and 2 and Test Stand) and I remember recieving a certificate for each one of them that I saved somewhere on my computer but now I have lost them . I'm having issues finding the certificates or some proof that I followed those courses.
I have the same account, but I can't find anything.

Installing Application Web Server
Hi,
I have recently created a SystemLink server and installed the client software on a cRIO, I have discovered the system and installed most of the software I need without any issues. This cRIO is going to run a LabVIEW Web Service, but NI Application Web Server isn't listed in available software in the systems manager. Any advise?
