I write a program to get a image from camera in Labview. I want to extract image taken from live image. Therefore I added event structure to press the OK button and extract image. But when I start camera then my front panel get locked. I would like to change values on front panel before extracting image. What should I change in my program to avoid locking and to be able to use front panel? Thanks in advance!

I am trying to figure out where to place the suggested solution within the NI Knowledge Base article located here. I am using the Report Generation Toolkit which most likely uses ActiveX calls. The fix says to manually change the path of the user32.dll but does not state where. Is this in Labview? Excel?
I do not want to assume so a little guidance is appreciated.
Just a fresh CLD here getting familiar with classes and had a question that I couldn't seem to find. What is the difference between privately scoping the .lvclass versus privately scoping each of the individual VI's within the class? I've attached a picture with the class in question highlighted.

I am using NI 9205 to acquire voltage and NI 9213 to acquire temperature.
They have very different acquisition frequencyes: 250 kS/s and 75 S/s.
I have no problem with this, my temperature measurement will be less than voltages. The question is: How to do to make then work toguether ?
In labview: I am using 1 Daq app I set continous sampling 5k Hz as sample rate and 1k as samples to read for NI 9205 voltages and other Daq app with 5 Hz 1 sample for NI9213 tempeerature. I get aways problems whit buffer size.
Should I use 2 Daqs in my labview VI ? How to make then with just one Daq app ?

I am working on to create a step size control of fill slide or numeric control. What I have learned on the youtube is that I can set the maximum and minimum values of the control, but it only increases 1 each time. What if I want it to increase by 0.5 or 0.6 or 0.1..... The graph shows what I mentioned above. Basically, my question is that how could I create a control to set the step size of numeric control? Thx!
I generate a exe file which is used to exchange information with compactRIO through shared variables. I have deployed them in CRIO. Then I run into a problem, after generating exe file, when I open and run it firstly, the program can work successfully, and then stop it (click the red stop button in the top left corner, note that I didnot close the window), And run it again, the value didnot change but sustained the previous value in the program. And I found it looks like after the time series reached the last time value, the program began update and use the new value. But if I closed this exe file and opened it to run again, the program worked. But the same problem appeared, when I stop it and run again, the program still had the problem above. It is realy a bug. Does anyone have solution?
Is it possible to change the run-time menu of a VI in a packed library? I have a plug-in based application I created using Actor Framework, and ran into an issue after building one of my actors into a packed library. I had been setting the run-time menu of the Actor Core based on which child actor was launched but it will no longer change from the default menu. So far I have not been able to find any documentation indicating whether this property should be available in a PPL or not.
I created a test application (see attached) to verify that it is a packed library issue, not specific to Actor Framework. I am unable to set the run-time menu for a VI in a packed library whether it is an actor or not.

I have downloaded and installed the NI-Package Manager (Student Edition). Then I have selected the LabVIEW packages I wanted to install and have started the installation.
However, there was no way to change the installation path of neither the Package Manager nor the installation of the Packages.
Where can I find this option?

2 or more GPIB devices getting a command sent to it sequentially, as in one device is getting a get temperature command continuously while the second device wants to start up and do the same. How can I do this in labview with both devices on the same BUS?

I am working on cRIO-9014 and I want to program the FPGA target of the controller. I have installed LabVIEW 2018 32 bit, LabVIEW FPGA, LabVIEW Real Time and NI RIO driver. I created a blank project and added cRIO-9014 in the new target and device option. The problem is that I can't see the module under the Chassis in the Project Explorer as well as FPGA target and I can't select the programming mode. If I go on the properties of the chassis it says Unexpected Error.
I have attached pictures of MAX and error.
I hope someone can help me with this problem.

I am using Omega GP911-1-S gauging probe(https://www.omega.com/en-us/sensors-and-sensing-equipment/displacement/displacement-sensors/c/gaugin... and Omega LDX-3x transducer conditioner(https://assets.omega.com/manuals/M1633.pdf) with a Omega DP24-E- process meter (https://assets.omega.com/manuals/M1866.pdf).
But, I want to use the transducer (LVDTsensor) with NI myDAQ. Can I do that with NI myDAQ? If possible, how can I make the hardware connection? Also, if anyone has simple code for it, can you please share it here?
I got problems running the function Configure Waveform Characteristics on LabView 2018 for my oscilloscope Agilent DSO-X 2002A since I upgraded the new drivers from NI MAX. Error message is:

Instrument reports:

However, it works on an older version of the driver. Does anybody know what the problem might be?
I have LabVIEW 2018, or did until about 10 minutes ago when I was trying to use the NIPM to get the "advanced plotting toolkit". I noticed there were 2 updates, which I installed, and I found (finally) how to uninstall demo version of LabVIEW 2019.
The patches went through, the uninstall went through, it asked me to reboot, and now LabVIEW will not start. This is bad. I need it for work that I am doing today. I need it right now.

When I go to "My Products" it will only allow download of 2019. The software was purchased this month, so perhaps the activation worked on my trial 2018 software instead of my 2019 software. When I uninstalled 2019 then maybe it broke something in that … mis-enable.
Good afternoon, I have a project that reads several sensors and also communicates with arduino. From labview can turns on several motors, it works perfectly, but I would like to instead of registering every second register every 60 minutes, instead every second. If I put on timer 60000, it takes 60 seconds to turn on the motors.

Hi, I am currently working as a programmer in a lab at a university. I was wondering if it is possible to use Python to program/interface with a cRIO instead of LabVIEW and, if so, what steps would be needed to do this. If not, is it possible to use Python within LabVIEW and, if so, would it have any benefits instead of just using LabVIEW itself?
I have a measurement that was stored as a variable in a previous step and now I need to put it in a numeric limit test. How do I do this without a VI?
