I have a demo from hex string to I16 number converted(Hex -> decimal->ascill->hex string->decimal),I have did it but it's not good in the way,could someone help me fixed it or point out,it's a appreciated,thanks!!

when using labview to call veristand, such error appeared, and the error windows keep front , nothing can be continue , I had to close the error window manually.
I want to know how to escape the error by labview diagram,I want to know how to force the error windows to close automatically ,so as to avoid stopping my tasks. thank you !

Search for multi-objective optimization function
Ask for advice: does LV have multi-objective optimization function (objective function is multiple nonlinear function)? Only the global optimization function of LV based on differential evolution method can be found. Of course, multi-objective can be transformed into single objective, but it is inconvenient to input multiple objective functions. Is there any more convenient LV function available? thank you very much!

Network Shared Variable wiring topology question
Wondering which one of the three loops (made up loops just for this question) you would use in your code. I have heard mention of not wanting to overwhelm the shared variable engine by having parallel reads/writes of NSVs. Also an explanation behind why you would choose one over another is great.

Executable using UI thread on Lab Computer
Hi Everyone,
I've been experiencing an interesting bug on some of our testbenches with software which I programmed in LabView (2018).
When I compile the software and run it on my laptop (with simulated inputs/etc) it runs perfectly fine and uses approximately 10-20% CPU (HP Elitebook 840 G5, Intel Core i5-8350U)
However, when I run the software on my testing equipment it runs with similar CPU usage, however a large percentage of that runs only on the last available core. This is usually reserved for the UI thread (I've had similar issues with this before). The test benches have a PXIe8880 and are substationally better than my laptop and should (in theory) run much more smoothly. This same software is on some of our older equipment which uses the PXIe8135 and the software also runs without a problem on them.
I've made sure that all labview runtimes are updates with all patches from 2014 up to 2020, and I've installed the latest versions of daqmx and XNET. There is a substantial increase in performance with the installation of labview runtime 2019, however the software can still lock up if I use the UI thread to much (holding down on a scrollbar will lock it up for instance).
I have made sure that as little sections of my code use property nodes or anything that will force the execution to go through the UI thread (as this was a known issue previously).
I cannot copy the code into this thread as it would be against company policy and since I don't know if its any specific section of code, I can't give any snippets either.
Any help would be appreciated as I'm running out of ideas as to what could be causing this problem.

best practices with "shared clone reentrant execution"
I'm writing code for a tester that has 4 duplicate fixtures, each one independent from the others. I'm thinking that I can use a main vi for tracking of the results of each fixture test and would call 4 instances of the fixture test program. If I set the fixture test program to "shared clone reentrant execution", would I need to set "shared clone reentrant execution" for all of the sub-vis in that fixture test program?

Receiving UDP stream from external sensor via ethernet
Hello,
I'm trying to create a VI to read UDP packets and parse them. I want to then store the parsed data in a excel file in a specified format. I've attached the format of the UDP packets. I tried using the Fract/Ext String to Number but got an error with the wire connections. Does anyone know the format of the UDP packet and how to parse the UDP data?

how can i connect lakeshore336 with labview
Can anybody tell me how can I connect Labview with lakeshore336? previously I was using with gpib serial after that we had changed our CPU.
Now the board does not have a PCI slot, so I connect it through an adapter of PCIe*1 to PCI. I can't get where is the problem, with an adapter or gpib cable or gpib card or with some software. can I connect with any other serial port? I am very new to LabVIEW setup.

Help Downloading FRC 2020 Game Tools
Hey all,
I am a senior in high school who has done FRC since my sophomore year. Today, I was trying to install the 2020 FRC Game Tools, when I ran into a problem that I can't find anywhere online. Here is the guide I was using to try to install. I pressed download on this page. I followed the installation steps, and the game tools began installing.
However, about 3/4 of the way through, the installation just... stopped. It gave me this error message:

There was a problem executing your request.
An error occurred while installing a package: ni-usblan (19.0.0.49153-0+f1)
Please check your Internet connection and try again.)
So, of course, I click on Try Again. Same thing. This time I turn my wifi off and back on again. Same thing. Then I restart my router. Same thing. I restart my computer. Same thing. I try the offline installer. Same thing. I looked up the error message online several times and followed a number of different instructions. My last resort was deleting EVERYTHING off of my computer with "National Instruments" and then trying to reinstall cleanly. Same. Error.
It did install a bunch of different files from that package. The two it has been hung up on this whole time are:
FRC Game Tools 2020
NI PXI Platform Services Runtime 19.0.0
After I deleted all of my National Instruments files, the NI PXI moved from an "upgrade" to an "install" with FRC Game Tools. It didn't help anything.
I verified my wifi connection with this device as well as a few others. I think it was functioning properly. I DID have an OLD version of this stuff (2019) on this laptop. I know that this laptop is compatible with the 2019 version of everything because it worked.
I'm not familiar with this community but I hope this post was helpful, and thank you if you spent time reading this! I hope I'm not doing something stupid or missing something terribly obvious!
Honestly, if I can't fix this soon, I think I'll just use the 2019 stuff. 😕

GetValueByPointer CLFN
I call a DLL which return a pointer (char *r),and I want to check the actual value the pointer represents. According to the guidance in NI.com, I found GetValueByPointer.xnode can cater to my requirements.But I can't find it in the corresponding folder, There are a lot of Vi beside GetValueByPointer.xnode and My labview vision is 2018.is it because I still download some extral library or others?And one more question,when I call this DLL(which returns a pointer to a string),which type I should chose for return value? String or Numeric,it's an entanglement.And here are some key settings for my project:

How to make keyfocus on a text file?
I have a simple program to simulate keystrokes in LabVIEW.
As shown in the image, if I press the bottom right button, it generates a string "Hello" in the string field.
However, I'm only able to make the key focus on the string field I created("Output" in the image).
I want to have my key focus on places such as a text file, google search engine, or generally any other place.
Not sure how to start this. I will appreciate any suggestions.

Comparing and eliminating elements in an array to create different worksheets in excel
Hi,
i want to create excel sheets by referencing different dates (from an array) but as some dates are repeated, there will be an error whereby the sheet can't be created. This means that there should be some kind of comparison and elimination to be done but i can't seem to figure it out. Attached are photos for reference. Would appreciate some advice, thank you!

Recognition of dynamic reference lines
Hello everyone,
It is about a geometric measurement with the help of reference lines.
The attached picture shows a part of the data set, this is a picture of about 3000 continuous graphs.
As these data pass through, the values, the complete graph, moves along the X and Y axis (due to measurement not being ideally centered). The graph in the green area should be measured.
To be able to measure the geometry clearly, I thought of dynamic reference lines, the red lines, from which the values can be determined.
But I have not yet found a function to detect these lines clearly and use them for further calculations.
I hope you have an idea:)

"Server does not support Remote Panels" when connect to Remote Panel using a different network provider
Hi everyone,
I am a new labview user and new to this community. Hope to have some help on a recent issue.
I've set up a remote panel connection to run a vi following the below link on both the server computer and the client computer

The remote panel connection worked well (in both the web browser and the labview) when both the server computer and the client computer were on the same network provider (i.e. on the same home wifi network). And I was able to control the vi on the server computer via the client computer.
However, when the client computer was switched to a different network (the mobile data network), I got the "Server does not support Remote Panels" message despite the same server computer IP address, port number (8090), and vi name were used. All IP addresses of the client computer (from both networks) were added to the access list in the web server configuration on the server computer.
Could someone please provide some guide on how to resolve this issue? Happy to provide any further information in regards if needed. Thank you.
