Communication with a SINAMICS G115D Drive over Profinet in LabVIEW

Hello everyone,

I’m working on integrating communication with a SINAMICS G115D drive directly over Profinet in LabVIEW. I’m using the documentation "SINAMICS_LabView_connection" from Siemens as a reference, which explains how to implement this connection. However, I’m facing several challenges and can’t get everything to work as described.

Here are my questions, and I hope you can help:

1. General Functionality
   Is it even possible to directly communicate with a G115D drive over Profinet as described in the Siemens documentation?

2. Using the GSDML File
   Can I use the GSDML file available on the Siemens website? 

3. Address Information
   Where can I find information regarding the "input_address" and "output_address" needed for the communication in LabVIEW? Are these addresses provided in TIA Portal or elsewhere in the Siemens documentation?

4. Special Requirements
   Are there any additional settings or configurations I need to consider to establish the communication successfully?

My goal is to achieve the following setup:

• A direct Profinet connection between the G115D and LabVIEW.
• Control and data acquisition of the drive directly through LabVIEW.
